About Us

The Boy Scouts of America is the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training.  This vision goes along with the Raleigh Jaycees in their mission to develop personal and leadership skills through service to others.  In this role the Raleigh Jaycees have chosen to sponsor Cub Scout Pack 170.  The Pack was started in 2004 and is located at Heritage Park where the Jaycees also run a tutoring and mentor program.  Cub Scouts have goals to produce leaders and instill values in young people.

We encourage parental participation and attendance to the Pack meetings which are currently held twice a year in August and January.  Please come by or contact us with questions.  We look forward to meeting you!
